My Thoughts on Armed Resistance

What about armed resistance?

Since I write about Resistance, some folks may wonder about my thoughts on armed resistance, especially the government agents assigned to monitor my websites and social media. Am I calling for armed resistance? A violent rebellion? A civil war? No, I am not.

Armed resistance is always an absolute last resort, as it is extremely difficult with deadly consequences. There are also ethical and moral considerations about when and how force can be used. Additionally, history shows that other methods of resistance tend to be much more effective. Successful revolutions are relatively uncommon and also devastating to the general populace. 

Despite the fantasies presented in many survivalist novels, most of us are not prepared to become guerrilla fighters, and likely would only get ourselves and probably our families killed. Most of us, me included, lack the fitness, training, and self-discipline to be a warrior fighting on the frontlines.

And lone wolf attacks accomplish nothing, except to give the media some wonderful propaganda to spin and to give government an excuse for yet more restrictions to our freedoms. Lone wolves are NOT striking blows against the system. To the contrary, they are stupidly playing into the hands of the Elites, who understand information warfare much better than they do.

I strongly believe in the right to self-defense, but I also strongly reject the unprovoked or unnecessary use of violence to achieve our goals. My advice is to concentrate instead on resisting in safer and more effective ways. Which is an important thread running through all my resistance writings. 

We are in an information war, an economic war, and a political war, not a physical war. Be smart.
