Here’s a must-have for preppers and survivalists: grab a couple of 4-way sillcock keys (they’re dirt cheap!). Stash one in your bug-out bag and another in your vehicle’s glove box. In an emergency, these little tools could be a lifesaver.
Sillcock keys open recessed, handleless water spigots found on commercial buildings, golf courses, parks, and some farms. These faucets lack handles to deter vandals, so you can’t use an adjustable wrench or pliers to turn them on. Only a sillcock key will do the trick, giving you access to clean water when you need it most.
Don’t get caught without one. Add these to your survival kits today! Psst: they also make great stocking stuffers for the prepper in your life. Availble on Amazon!
