Energy & Infrastructure is a foundational Control Node. Access to electricity, fuel, and the ability to move freely underpins nearly every aspect of modern life, especially in a country as massive as the United States of America. When these systems are centralized and tightly managed, the ability to apply pressure becomes immense.

How the Energy & Infrastructure Control Node Operates

• Grid Dependency.  Most households and businesses rely on a centralized electrical grid. Outages, rolling blackouts, or restricted access quickly disrupt daily life, work, food storage, communication, and security.
• Fuel Control & Pricing.  Regulations, taxes, carbon policies, and supply restrictions influence the cost and availability of gasoline, diesel, propane, and natural gas. Higher prices and scarcity act as powerful behavioral levers.
• Smart Meters & Monitoring.  Connected devices and smart infrastructure enable real-time tracking, and restriction, of energy use. This data can support differential pricing, usage limits, or enforcement of “efficiency” and "climate" mandates.
• Policy-Driven Transitions.  Mandates around electric vehicles, net-zero targets, and restrictions on traditional energy sources reshape options and increase reliance on new, often less reliable and always more tightly controlled systems.
• Movement Restrictions.  Fuel availability, vehicle regulations, and infrastructure priorities affect personal mobility. When movement becomes more expensive or restricted, independence declines.

This node is especially effective because energy and mobility are prerequisites for almost everything else, including food production, supply chains, heating, cooling, work, and emergency response.

Breaking the Energy & Infrastructure Control Node

• Increase Redundancy: Develop backup power options such as generators, solar with battery storage, or other off-grid capable systems. Prioritize critical loads.
• Diversify Fuel Sources: Maintain practical alternatives (propane, wood, etc.) where feasible. Reduce single points of failure.
• Improve Efficiency & Independence: Lower overall energy needs through insulation, efficient appliances, and lifestyle adjustments that reduce vulnerability to price spikes or shortages.
• Local & Tribe Solutions: Share knowledge, tools, and resources within your family or community. Cooperative energy strategies and mutual aid strengthen resilience.
• Skill Building: Learn basic maintenance, small-scale generation, and low-tech alternatives so temporary disruptions do not become crises.

The aim is not complete disconnection overnight, but reduced dependency. Greater self-reliance in energy and mobility weakens the leverage this Control Node holds over your daily life.

Food & Supply Chains: Controlling What You Eat

Food & Supply Chains is one of the most fundamental Control Nodes. Whoever controls what people eat, and how easily they can get it, holds enormous power over daily life, health, and independence. When food becomes scarce, expensive, or tightly regulated, populations become far more compliant.

How the Food Control Node Operates

• Centralized Production & Processing.  A small number of corporations dominate seed patents, farming inputs, processing plants, and distribution networks. This concentration creates vulnerability and makes it easier for regulators and large players to shape the entire system.
• Engineered Scarcity & Rising Costs.  Inflation, regulations (including on gardens and backyard chickens), climate policies, and supply chain disruptions drive drive down supply and drive up food prices. What once felt abundant and affordable is increasingly treated as a constrained resource, pressuring households and shifting behavior.
• Dietary Guidelines & Narrative Control.  Official recommendations (food pyramids, “plant-based” pushes, restrictions on meat and dairy) often align with corporate and political interests rather than pure nutritional science. These narratives influence public perception and policy.
• Fragile Just-in-Time Systems.  Modern cities and suburbs depend on long, complex supply chains. Disruptions, whether from plandemics, weather, or geopolitics, can empty shelves quickly, revealing how little local resilience most people have.
• Emerging Alternatives & Control.  Lab-grown meat, insect protein, GMOs, and synthetic foods are promoted as solutions, but they also increase dependency on industrial systems rather than traditional, local production, and in many cases have dubious, even dangerous, nutritional value.

This node works because food is non-negotiable. Control the food, and you control the people.

Breaking the Food & Supply Chains Control Node

• Grow What You Can: Even small gardens, containers, or backyard plots reduce dependency. Focus on nutrient-dense, high-yield crops suited to your climate.
• Backyard Chickens: Eggs are a healthy source of protein and calories. Backyard chickens as a "hobby" is growing more acceptable and legal in some ares. In others, politicians and bureaucrats are pushing hard against this trend.
• Build Local Networks: Support farmers’ markets, CSAs, and local producers. Develop relationships for barter, bulk buying, or shared resources.
• Stockpile Smartly: Maintain a rotating supply of shelf-stable, nutrient-dense foods. Prioritize items that store well and support real health.
• Preserve Skills: Learn canning, dehydrating, fermenting, hunting, fishing, and foraging. These skills create real independence.
• Tribe-Level Solutions: Share garden space, tools, knowledge, and surplus within your family or community. Build parallel food systems that don’t rely solely on corporate supply chains.
• Question Official Narratives: Study traditional diets, historical food patterns, and primary nutritional research rather than accepting shifting guidelines at face value.

The goal is not total isolation, but reduced vulnerability. When your food security rests more on your own efforts and local relationships than on distant systems, this Control Node loses much of its power.

Technocracy Threats: Power Elite Control (2026 version)

Digital ID + programmable money (CBDCs) + AI surveillance and scoring + smart-city infrastructure

Dear Shadow Tribe,

 

I've been warning about technocracy since at least 2019. Here is my newest update.

 

Technocracy is the tool being used so successfully by the Power Elite to control the masses. This intersection of technology and power (both government and corporate) needs to be examined and understood if we are to protect ourselves and our families, and resist the transformation of human civilization.

In this article, I aim to briefly explain what technocracy is, what its goals are, and to give a brief outline of its history. I also point out its many dangers and flaws.

What is Technocracy?

Technocracy is a movement, an economic system, and a proposed form of government that started in the 1930s at Columbia University. It is also a form of social engineering. Its primary goal is to replace free enterprise and capitalism with a resource-based system using energy/carbon credits as its basic accounting units, rather than traditional forms of currency. (Does this sound familiar? It is found in the carbon tax/cap-and-trade schemes of the climate change enthusiasts, and more directly in the push for Central Bank Digital Currencies.)

This new economic system would be run by technocrats(scientists and other so-called “experts”) who would control 100% of the means of production, distribution, and consumption of goods and services. (Sounds similar to Marxism, doesn’t it? It is a form of Marxism.)

In a more dystopian twist, the “experts” running the system would include artificial intelligence and computer algorithms making many of the decisions, rather than actual people. AI is no longer a future risk; governments are already embedding it in decision-making, surveillance, benefits administration, and behavioral prediction.

A major goal of this new economic system is sustainable development, also known as the “Green Economy.” (Terms that should sound familiar. And don’t be fooled by nice-sounding alternative labels.)

Under this new economic system, cities would be retrofitted into “Smart Cities” and “15-Minute Cities” (yet more familiar terms if you are paying attention) with massive surveillance systems used to control the populace. (Sounds kind of like a Police State? Because it is.) The “15-minute city” label itself became so toxic after public backlash that many deliberately dropped the phrase. The underlying policies (reduced car access, greater population density, government control of movement and services) continue under softer labels or simply general talk of active travel and proximity planning. The name changes; the actual agenda does not.

Another goal is the end of rural living, as everyone will be forced to live in these smart cities. Yes, that means you. At least that is their plan. (Notice how anti-farming the environmental movement has become? And notice the push towards insects-as-food, lab-grown meats, and bio-engineered GMO foods.)

Private property will no longer exist. Everything will be owned by the government. “You will own nothing and be happy.” (Does that phrase sound familiar? It should thanks to the World Economic Forum. It’s one of their major goals. Note that Klaus Schwab stepped down from formal leadership roles in 2025, but the network and agenda continue.)

Parental rights will no longer exist. The government will own and raise your children as it sees fit. If you interfere, your children will be taken away from you. (We have already seen schools and health systems in certain jurisdictions hide information from parents on gender and other issues. The pattern is clear even where specific laws vary.)

Social credit systems, similar to what is already being used by the Chinese Communist Party, will be global. Your ability to get a job, get an education, afford a home, get medical care, even to get married or have children, will depend on maintaining a favorable social score. Your level of Internet access will be determined by your social score, as will your ability to travel. It is all about control. Of you. (Australia and much of Europe are already openly moving in this direction. Digital identity systems are the gateway. The EU Digital Identity Wallet is required to be available in member states by the end of 2026.)

The concept of individual liberty will end. No Freedom of Speech. No Freedom of Religion. No Freedom of the Press. No Freedom of Assembly. No Right to Bear Arms. No Right to Self-Defense. No Right to Refuse any vaccination, medical test or treatment the government deems “necessary.” (Remember the calls made by many people, including doctors and politicians, that folks who refused the Covid vaccination be fined, jailed, or sent to re-education camps? That attitude will become reality.)

National borders will become obsolete. In fact, the very concept of a nation-state will come to an end. (This remains the elite preference in many institutions, even as specific countries, notably the US,  push back.)

The plan is to eventually do away with elected governments and constitutions. Elected politicians will be obsolete, which sounds good until you remember that they will be replaced with unelected, unaccountable technocrats, artificial intelligence, algorithms, and corporate enforcers.

We are talking about a scientific dictatorship in charge of 100% of the economy, as well as the  political and legal systems. And, remember, we are NOT supposed to question Science.

The modern control stack is becoming clear: Digital ID + programmable money (CBDCs) + AI surveillance and scoring + smart-city infrastructure. China’s digital yuan is already advanced. Most of the G20 is exploring or piloting CBDCs. The United States, under the Trump administration, has rejected a retail CBDC at the federal level (easily reversible by future administrations), but the global pressure remains.

Should we abandon technology?

No. The problem isn’t technology. Technology is only the tool. Blaming technology for the actions of the Power Elite makes as little sense as blaming the gun for the action of the criminal. Besides, the genie has already escaped the bottle, and there is no putting it back.

Instead, we need to understand what is being done to us, and how it is being done. And then we need to focus efforts against the Power Elites trying to control us with technology and social engineering.

Who are the Power Elite?

Power Elite is a term first used in the 1950s by the American sociologist C. Wright Mills to describe a loose-knit group of government, military, and corporate leaders who are the center of wealth and power in the USA, and therefore dominate American political policies. (Note: This is not a conspiracy theory, but rather an acknowledgement of the mutual interests of a wealthy and powerful segment of society.)

In short, they are the “bad guys” trying to control the masses for their own selfish profit and power.

Over the decades, the USA Power Elite have increasingly cooperated with the Power Elite from other Western Nations to push a globalist, technocratic agenda. Since at least the 1990s, the CCP has used their power, money and access to the vast Chinese markets to exert influence over the Power Elite, a situation made even easier by the Power Elite’s open admiration for the CCP system of highly centralized, authoritarian control. Tech platforms, major asset managers, and AI infrastructure controllers now form additional nodes of this power.

See the book Unrestricted Warfare: China’s Master Plan to Destroy America, for more on the CCP’s plans. It is an English translation of a work by two colonels in the People’s Liberation Army, Qiao Liang and Wang Xiangsui. (By the way, the concept of Lawfare (the misuse and abuse of the legal system for political benefit) comes straight out of this book. Just in case you were wondering where the Left got the idea.)

The Power Elite are a very small segment of the population, yet they control a vast amount of wealth and power. And they have many “useful tools” on their side in academia, the media, union leadership, throughout pop culture, and among the many “social justice warriors" and "environmental activists."

Resistance

Resistance to technocracy prioritizes cash, privacy tools, self-reliance, local production, refusal of non-essential digital mandates, and political pressure against the enabling legislation at all levels. It also means promoting the family, local community, and traditional values (patriotism, free speech, faith, and the like) that technocracy seeks to dissolve, rather than giving unquestioning allegiance to government, unaccountable experts, and official narratives.

Healthcare & Medical Systems stands as one of the most powerful Control Nodes. It combines physical dependency, fear, massive financial leverage, data surveillance, and moral authority into a single system that can dictate behavior at the most intimate of levels, your body and your family’s health.

How the Healthcare Control Node Operates

• Institutional Dependency & Compliance. Most people are completely reliant on doctors, hospitals, insurance, and pharmaceutical companies. This creates powerful incentives for conformity. During COVID, we saw how quickly “public health” could be weaponized for lockdowns, mandates, and social control.
• Big Pharma & Financial Influence. Pharmaceutical companies wield enormous power through lobbying, funding research, and direct marketing to doctors and consumers. Inflation in healthcare costs and skyrocketing insurance premiums keep families financially trapped.
• Groupthink, Fear, and Control. Doctors face immense pressure: Massive medical school debt, as well as fear of lawsuits, losing licenses, or professional ostracism, which discourages independent thinking. Official narratives (pushed by Big Pharma, WHO, government bureaucrats) are heavily promoted while dissenting views are suppressed.
• Data Collection & Health Passports. Electronic health records, wearables, and digital IDs create unprecedented surveillance. Health passports showed how access to travel, work, entertainment, and daily life can be tied to compliance.
• Broader Connections. The node extends into food policy (corporate diet guidelines contributing to rising chronic disease and cancer rates) and ties directly into financial dependency through insurance and medical debt.

 
This is an extremely powerful node because it literally controls life and death decisions while maintaining a veneer of compassion and expertise.

Breaking the Healthcare Control Node

• Build Personal Health Sovereignty: Focus on metabolic health, nutrition, exercise, and sleep. Reduce dependency through prevention and healthy lifestyles rather than treatment. Find doctors who practice integrative medicine. 
• Educate Yourself: Study primary sources, alternative viewpoints, and historical medical data. Question official guidelines, especially dietary ones.
• Research Alternative Healing: Explore herbalism (Amazon link), healing teas, meditation for stress relief/blood pressure management, TCM and other traditional approaches to build knowledge and options outside institutional medicine.

Quick Growing Tips for Success Indoors

• Light: Needs 6–8 hours of bright, direct sunlight daily (south-facing window is ideal). If natural light is limited, use a full-spectrum LED grow light (Amazon link).
• Pot & Soil: Use an 8 inch pot with good drainage and well-draining potting mix (Amazon link), avoid heavy garden soil.
• Watering: Keep soil moist but not soggy. Water when the top inch feels dry.

Propaganda & Culture: The Soft Power Control Node

Of all the Control Nodes, Propaganda & Culture may be the most insidious. It rarely needs guns or laws. Yet, it changes what you’re allowed to think, say, feel, and even laugh at...  until the cage feels like common sense.

We’ve watched it unfold for decades: a slow, cultural reprogramming that starts with “just words” and ends with entire societies afraid to state obvious truths.

How the Propaganda & Culture Node Works

This node operates through overlapping channels that reinforce each other:

• DEI, CRT, Political Correctness and the New Sacred Hierarchy: What began as academic theories has metastasized into corporate policy, government mandates, education, and even the military. It redefines language, rewrites history, and replaces merit and character with identity-based power structures. Suggesting we judge people by content of character rather than skin color or identity is now treated as heresy in many circles.
• Cancel Culture as Enforcement: The modern scarlet letter. Deviate from the approved sanitized narrative and you and your family face social exile, professional destruction, debanking, deplatforming, or worse. The real power lies in the fear it creates — widespread self-censorship that’s far more effective than any official censor.
• Entertainment as Indoctrination: Hollywood, streaming platforms, music, sports, and advertising are not neutral. They are delivery systems. Heroes, villains, jokes, and love stories are engineered to normalize certain values while pathologizing others. What we consume for “fun” is quietly reshaping our worldview and moving the Overton Window.

Together, these mechanisms erode traditional foundations, such as  family, merit, biological reality, free inquiry,  and make resistance feel not just wrong, but socially dangerous.

Why This Node Is So Dangerous

Cultural control works in the background. Most people don’t notice the gradual shift until basic truths  (biology, merit, family, free speech, Bible & prayer) become controversial. Dissent becomes "hate." The Overton Window is moved dramatically. By the time the shift is obvious, entire generations have internalized the new programming.

This node attacks the soul of a people. It replaces resilience with fragility, truth with narrative, and independence with conformity.

 

Breaking Free from Cultural Propaganda

The good news? Soft power can be countered with harder awareness:

• Curate Ruthlessly: Limit exposure to mainstream entertainment. Seek out independent creators and older works that weren’t designed for social engineering.
• Reclaim Language and Norms: Refuse to participate in compelled speech. Speak plainly at home. Teach your children (and yourself) to think clearly and study real history, not the sanitized version.
• Build Counter-Culture at Home and in the Tribe: Create your own traditions, music, humor, stories, and values that celebrates resilience, family, and unfiltered truth. Make your family and tribe a refuge from ideological conformity.
• Develop Mental Immunity: Study rhetoric, logical fallacies, and the history of propaganda. Train yourself and your loved ones to spot emotional manipulation and groupthink before it takes root.

 

The Path Forward

The Propaganda & Culture Node is powerful because it makes people police themselves. The best defense is a strong, independent culture rooted in truth, beauty, merit, family, and unapologetic resilience.

News Media & Knowledge Access: The Gatekeeping Control Node

The News Media & Knowledge Access node may be the most visible of the 11 Control Nodes. It doesn’t just report events, it decides what events you hear about, how they’re framed, and which facts or entire stories are buried. Combined with control over books, search results, and digital platforms, it shapes your entire picture of reality.

How This Control Node Works

• Narrative Control & Propaganda: Legacy media (TV, newspapers, major websites) functions as the elite’s primary propaganda machine. Coordinated messaging, selective reporting, and outright omission keep the public aligned with approved viewpoints. The Twitter Files provided a rare look behind the curtain, revealing direct collaboration between government officials, democratic operatives, politicians, intelligence agencies, and tech platforms to suppress stories and viewpoints.
• Digital Books & Knowledge Access: The shift from physical books to digital platforms (Amazon Kindle, Apple Books, Google, etc.) makes censorship and access control far easier. A book can be quietly delisted, edited after the fact, or made unavailable with a few clicks. Search engines and algorithms further bury dissenting sources while amplifying official sanitized narratives.
• Social Media Monitoring & Control: Platforms are under constant pressure to censor, shadowban, and deboost content that challenges the prevailing narrative. Ant Invasion? Try This Safe, Cheap DIY Borax Bait

Dear Shadow Tribe,

Over the last several weeks, my home has been dealing with a serious invasion of tiny ants, primarily in the kitchen and both bathrooms. With the severe drought we're experiencing here, I suspect they were marching indoors in search of water. Whatever the cause, they quickly became a major nuisance.

A can of Raid Ant & Roach spray (Amazon link) did almost nothing to slow them down. The system presented the usual two options: apply more harsh chemical sprays myself (unhealthy for my home and body) or call in a professional exterminator (expensive and unhealthy). As I say, when you're given a choice between two bad options, always pick the third.

That third option turned out to be a simple borax and sugar bait. Borax (Amazon link) is highly effective because not only does it kill the individual ants you see, it gets carried back to the colony, wiping out the entire nest. Best of all, it’s inexpensive, less toxic, and requires no professional help.

The Recipe That Worked for Me

1 cup borax
3 cups sugar

Mix the two thoroughly (a 1:1 ratio won't work as the ants find it too “soapy” and mostly avoid it).

Place the dry mix on a small plate, saucer, or directly on the counter in problem areas. Keep it away from pets and children.

Add just a few drops of water, but not too much. I simply wet my fingers and let several large drops fall onto the pile. It forms a thick paste similar to donut glaze (though it tastes far worse, obviously). No need to spray or mist the entire batch.

My Results

The first night, the bait was a hit. By morning, each location had hundreds of ants swarming it. Many already dead, others hauling the mixture back to their colony. I’m not exaggerating: roughly 100–200 dead ants each in the kitchen and one bathroom, and 300–500 in the second bathroom. I cleaned them up by washing most down the sink. The hardened glaze took some scraping with a spatula, but it was manageable.

I reapplied the bait the next night and saw about 20 dead ants per location the following morning. One more application after that, and the total across all three areas was under 20 ants combined. After that… complete silence. No more ants. The colony (or colonies) was effectively destroyed.

In a consumerist world pushing endless chemical dependency and expensive services, it feels good to solve problems with simple, time-tested ingredients you can keep on hand. A few practical tips:

• Refresh the bait every couple of days until activity stops.
• Place multiple small stations near entry points and trails.
• Clean up old bait residue before reapplying if it hardens too much.
• Store extra dry mix in a labeled jar for future use.

Education: The Indoctrination Control Node

Few Control Nodes are as effective, or as insidious, as the Education System. From government-run public schools to prestigious universities, this node doesn’t just teach skills. It shapes worldviews, values, and loyalties starting in early childhood. By the time a young person reaches adulthood, their fundamental assumptions about history, economics, morality, authority, faith and human nature have often been molded by the system.

How the Education Control Node Operates

The modern education system excels at three things:

1. Early and Constant Exposure. Children spend the majority of their waking hours in school for 12+ years. This creates unparalleled opportunity for control of ideological formation during the most impressionable period of life.
2. Standardized Curriculum & Groupthink. Centralized standards, teacher training programs, and accreditation bodies ensure ideological consistency. Dissenting views on topics like history, gender, economics, climate, or government power are often marginalized and even punished.
3. Credentialing as Gatekeeping. Degrees have become near-mandatory tickets to many careers and jobs today. The need for a degree creates massive student debt while ensuring the system maintains long-term influence over career paths and economic mobility.

Universities amplify this further, functioning as ideological finishing schools where certain orthodoxies (on race, class, gender, and politics) are heavily enforced through social pressure, grading bias, and administrative power.

We’ve seen the results. Generations of people increasingly skeptical of traditional values, family structures, self-reliance, and critical thinking, while being highly receptive to centralized authority, identity politics, and emotional reasoning over evidence. The system produces compliant workers, consumers and voters more effectively than independent thinkers.

The goal is not to reject learning. It’s to reject centralized indoctrination masquerading as learning, and reclaim education as a tool for genuine empowerment and independence.

Financial Systems: The Primary Control Node

Of all the Control Nodes, Financial Systems may be the most powerful and pervasive. It touches nearly every aspect of modern life. What we can buy, where we can live, what we can own, what opportunities are open to us, and even how freely we can speak or resist.

The ruling class (governments, central banks, mega-corporations, and global elites) uses debt, currency manipulation, banking access, and now digital currencies as powerful levers to shape our behavior and enforce compliance.

How the Financial Control Node Works

1.  Debt as a Trap

Endless personal, student, medical, and national debt keeps individuals and nations dependent. Debt creates a constant need for income and compliance. We can’t easily walk away from the system when we are chained to monthly payments. “Buy now, pay later” culture and easy credit normalize lifelong servitude.

2.  Currency Control & Inflation

Central banks (especially the Federal Reserve) control the money supply. Inflation acts as a hidden tax, eroding your savings and purchasing power over time. This transfers wealth upward while making the average person more dependent on the next paycheck or on government support.

3.  Banking Access & Debanking

Banks are no longer neutral. They can freeze accounts, deny access, close accounts, or report you for “suspicious” activity (often ideological, as we have seen in recent years). In recent years we’ve seen financial institutions target gun shops, churches, and individuals with the “wrong” views.Our access to the modern economy can be turned off with the flick of a switch. The push towards a cashless economy is intended to force all people and all transactions into this control system.

4.  Emerging Digital Currencies (CBDCs)

Central Bank Digital Currencies represent the ultimate evolution of financial control. Unlike decentralized cryptocurrencies, CBDCs are programmable money. Governments could:

• Set expiration dates on your money
• Restrict what you can buy (no meat, no gas, no guns)
• Enforce carbon goals/taxes
• Apply social credit-style penalties or rewards
• Track every transaction in real time

This turns money from a tool of freedom into a tool of surveillance and behavioral modification.

Why The Financial Control Node Is So Effective

Financial control works because it feels voluntary. Most people don’t see the architecture. We just feel the pressure of bills, inflation, debt, and the fear of losing access. It creates dependency while maintaining the illusion of choice.

Breaking Free: Personal, Family, and Tribe Strategies

We cannot completely opt out of the financial system overnight, but we can systematically reduce its power over our life:

• Minimize Debt: Aggressively pay down high-interest debt, and any debt that puts our property at risk (mortgage, auto loans, etc.). Avoid new consumer debt. Teach our children financial discipline early.
• Build Real Assets: Focus on productive assets, such as land, tools, skills, precious metals, and local barter networks, rather than purely paper assets. Make sure we have more than adequate emergency savings.
• Increase Privacy and Redundancy: Use cash when possible. Diversify banking relationships. Explore privacy-focused cryptocurrencies carefully. Maintain some emergency funds outside the traditional system.
• Use Cash and Barter: Still mostly legal, cash and barter increases privacy and builds personal networks.
• Develop Multiple Income Streams: Skills-based income, local trade, small business, self-employment, online opportunities, and tribe-supported enterprises reduce vulnerability to debanking or job loss.
• Tribe-Level Solutions: Community savings pools, skill-sharing, local currencies or barter systems, and mutual aid networks create resilience outside the main system.

The goal isn’t to become a hermit. It’s to become antifragile. Less dependent on the Financial Control Node that when pressure is applied, we feel it less.
