Bird Flu Update - Now Germany and France

By Tim Gamble

A couple of days ago, I gave a few headlines from around the world (USA, Serbia, Japan, Israel) of the surging bird flu pandemic. Today, there is breaking news of the bird flu out of Germany, where more than 11,000 turkeys have been killed due to a bird flu outbreak on a farm in Brandenburg. (Source)

Earlier this week, authorities in France also reported a bird flu outbreak on a turkey farm in the Brittany region. (Source) No word on how many birds were destroyed.

My advice: Again, don't panic. Just continue to follow this situation, and continue to work your preparedness plan, which should include stocking up food, water, and other supplies.
